I'm probably a Nalbandian, hit the ball very cleanly, can serve well but usually doesn't, can come to the net when he feels like it and overuses the drop shot. Oh yeah. and he's a mental midget you completely com busts when he's gonna serve for the match or has match points.

Joesixtoe told me I played like Nadal, I think he's just jealous because I am more like Agassi than he is.
I serve crappy, but I never back off when I return, always stand very close to the baseline.
I take the ball extremely early. My shots are not powerful by any means, but I am relentless.
I think maybe the only difference is that I play a lot of short angles, and I change my spins A LOT. Sometimes I could have just flatten a easy down the line, instead I go with yet another crosscourt. And I do think people start to pick up my style now.
And yes, I do think I have the best passing shots, so many shots at my disposal.

I play like a combination of Federer, Nadal, Agassi, Sampras, EDBERG, and every other person that's ever been #1

Like I have said many times, I use dropshots either when I am confident or when I am desperate.
Name one ITST member who does not stand 5 meters behind the baseline and takes huge swings? Maybe Djarvik, but he's irrelevant, as usual.
Everyone complains about returning inside the baseline is unfair, but playing clay tennis on hard/grass is not?
No wonder people hate dirtballers.

 hey! What do I have to do to be relevant?

Puttu, I think I mentioned to you once....you are way to far back on retruns...yes it is easier to get the ball in play....but you are giving up WAY too much court. Hence the dropppers....I remember doing it to you too, you then also commented that the droppers were killing you, and I have suggested you to move up.

Here is the thing, I don't know if you try and replicate Murrays returns (if not then forget this reference).

Murray starts far back, then starts forward movment onto the retrun and ends up almost at baseline. You simply retrun from the stands and stay there, far back....the logical follow up as a short shot.....either drop shot or any other short shot.

But as you said, they don't bother you anymore....you aren ghetting to most of them just fine.

yeah i know but you can't deny that my style of play ( standing far back ) has it's advantages . You seem to dismiss it completely . It works great against 90 percent of the players i play and i have won many matches because of that position . i would say you , Davidou and picachu are the only ones that have used it against me it . The problem with picachu is his serve , after a while i was able to return his serves much closer to the baseline, enabling me to get to his drop shits (oops freudian slip ) and hit a winner . You on the other hand , have shit loads of variety on your serve making me uneasy when returning closer to the baseline.

I still managed to break you in our match god knows how lol , by standing far back . I don't mind starting my points from a uncomfortable position . As you know i have my little Lb friend to help me get back into position .
that last point opens up a whole new debate

 yeah the "magic" of LB!

Thanks BTW on the compliment.

Yeah, your game is effective...there is no denying your results. By suggesting you to move forward, I am not trying to hurt your game, rather help. I think if you can learn to return from a little closer to the line you will be more dangerous. Even if you put less balls to play. You are simply in a better position to attack and/or even attack with retrun without RT. Simply LT or even no risk. Retruning from so far back, you almost forced to use RT to attack as LT's are easily reachable...most of the time you are on the run on your return games from the first ball....you already have to cover the whole court to the opposite corner.

Anyway, do what works for you man.
