communication is the key guys
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Walkovers get on your nerves and that's normal. But as everyone says, pm everything about the match schedule as you can. Communication is really the key.
Everything becomes fair and logic...... Most of the time.....

Reconsider your position mate, and give it another try

The one match issue that I would be pissed about would not be the host fault, if you didnt report the score what is the host to do? I would get irritated with the other person not saying to the host ,hey we played and he beat me actually.

Give the host a break, there not perfect but they do the best they can. These people are donating there time for free. They have lives and jobs so if they do not get back to you right away dont go running to complain on the message board, i find they go out of there way to try and make the most fair decision.

2. Sony Ericsson; I played Banthasmaker and beat him 6-1, 6-4, I thought I reported it, but I guess I did not, but neither did Banthasmaker so the W/O went to Banthasmaker. I indicated this to the tournament host merely hours after this happenned. No justice, not even the courtesy of a message back, SHERLOCK.

Sorry Chunk, I'm quite new on itst and thought that it's the winner that have to report-that is quite normal-and so I don't do it, and don't log onto itst before seeing that the host gave me the WO, so forgive me.
But the fact you forget to notice is that our host send us MP to underline this situation, and gave you 2 extra days to play your match against IluvBillVal, after I said him that we have really play a match that you have won. But you don't play, so it's understandable that I can keep the WO. Thanks for reading.

no, both can report the match result !!
important is only that someone send the match result.
its not the duty for the looser to send result

as the matchwinner its better to have a eye on it that the result is submitted

6.) The winner has to report the match score to the tournament director. This is done by going to the tournament page and clicking on the link to report results there. Please don't send in fake results as we will ban you from the Tour if we find out about it.

I'm just saying that in defense to Banthasmaker , it was Chunks duty to report the match .

yeah anyone can report the match result , but i have always assumed it was up to the winner to do it . The only time that i have reported the match as a the loser was for a final when i wanted to include a comment or stats.

Merci Puttu puttuu de prendre ma défense ^^
Anyway, like Puttu said, in the rules it's clearly the winner's duty, but if Chunk asked me to report the match result, I would have done it. The problem, most of you seem to see it, is lack of communication.
I sent a message on Chunk's email to explain him, and I hope he will come back after that,he is a great player.
