I never use my drop shots at convenient times for that specific reason, I use them when my opponent is far behind the baseline and when I'm at the net or going to the net.

The problem is that if u use it in a tie break or in a bp your rival quickly will say that u use only in importants points, maybe u have done 10 dropshot more in the set, but he will remember only the dropshot that u won in the tie break ,and of course he will not remember when he used dropshots or risk slice.

I agree totaly on this maximo. I use it sometimes too but i don't say for example I NEVER use it. But now i try not to risk(R2) my slice and in MSS at least it works like a charm, it helps you get into position quickly enough most of the times.

i talk about short risk slice, not another, that is the dificult shoot for retourn, i dont have a problem with the long risk slice, is a normal shoot, but the other hit (short) is very difficult
I use long risk slice in sometimes situations, but NEVER, and I said NEVER use short risk slice,
Dont worry Likos, the nex time I'm going to record our party.
Bye my friends, see u!

Another question;

Is the very short cross court topspin(L2+R2) considered cheesey?

Its just i've never really seen it before, but recently it seems like a of the new guys are using this return.

I just played a guy who did it like 2 or 3 times a game. Really annoying, and very boring.

This shot is actually hard to do, so in my view, it is not cheesey.. If you face someone who is hitting 90% wide serves, you really need to get these short cross top spin (L2+R2) back..

It does get annoying if that's all they're doing, but I wouldn't call it cheesy either.

Guys....here is a sure way to combat it:

- Take a step or two towards the middle of the court before serving.
- Stop serving wide all the time, this return is a "counter" to constant wide serving.
- DO NOT PRE-PRESS!!!! DAMMIT! That is the core of all evil. Learn to first see whats coming on some shots, not all, but on some of them. You can't get to that return because you already holding a shot button and when you do that, you player reacts significantly slower.

I have no problem with ANY returns in SIM. 90% of the time you can get the rally started. Well, then 10% you will be in trouble. That is normal when playing a good returner. The best thing you can do is improve your serve patterns and reposition yourself to give a different look to a returner.

Hello everybody !

Questions :

- Is the L2 slice considered as chessy during a rally ?
- Can my opponent return my serve with a L2 slice ?

Thx to all

NO to the first question. and yes u can return how ever you want as long as u stay behind the baseline
