Awesome match against parsons
first set 6-2, i broke at 2-2 then held and broke again with tons of lucky risk shots
2nd SET was different parson mixed up his service more and he was putting a ton of pressure on my serve, but in the tiebreak i unleashed a series of great serves and was making more returns the match ended with Parsons making a volley error :!: GREAT GAMEi won it 6-2 7-6

Wow congrats Tonedawg, didn't think you could make such a impact so early on in your itst career. I knew you had the potential to be a great player but it's already becoming apparant.

pocho's Cannon def. brgerflipr's Nakamura. One break in each set was all he needed. 6-3, 6-4. I couldn't handle his serve or his power.

I'll stand by what I said before, Cannon and Bashmakov need to be modified. Unless, we want the PS3 sim tour to be 90% Cannons & Bashmakovs, I suggest this happen real soon. It is absolutely pointless to play any other characters against these 2.

If you take a very good player (like Pocho) and give him a Cannon or a Bashmakov, it is pointless to choose any other characters. Take two players close in skill and one has either Cannon or Bash, that one will ALWAYS win.

I'm not complaining about my loss, I'm just stating a fact. As more and more players lose using bishops, grays, naka's, lopez, bucci, lorenz, etc..... eventually we're gonna all turn to bashmakov or cannon.

I totally love the idea of the SIM tour and will continue to support it. i hope this comes across to ITST as constructive input and nothing more.

completely agree with u.
if two players are at the same level and one of them use cannon or bashmakov,he'll win surely.

that's the problem

I don't mind Cannon or Bashmakov if they had the slight edge, i.e. if they have to actually use some risk... Here, it seems they have more than a slight edge, without having to use any risks. Tonedawg's Bashmakov is 99% unbreakable on serve.. and his return game, well if he creates 50:50 chance, then he'll win with ease.

I do believe it is possible to beat them with hard work, you really have to be on top form to get your risks in. Maybe this should be posted in the appropriate 'Characters Discussion' thread.

maximo use bashmakov against cannon at least u will be able to fight power with power if u use naka you will have to make more risks in, cannon wont need to risk as much due to power D:

You will probably have more fun playing w/ Naka and there will be more rallies. But to win, Pocho's Cannon is too strong, you might have to use a more equal character. Good luck my friend!

i know that is possible beat cannon with naka, but i feel that if i don't use bas i will have to do a lot of things more than him, brgerflipr is better than me and he lost using nakamura.
