Are disconnections a big problem on PS3? 'Cuz I've never been disconnected from anybody on 360 (360 TS3, that is)

Yeah, it seems to be when you're playing players who are far away.

I'm in the UK and I think Tonedawg's in USA. Disconnections tend to happen to me in games that lag, and we did lag but it was still playable / enjoyable. The 2nd connection we tried had better connection (for me anyway), then it got worse, then it disconnected :D

There are players who I just cannot connect with. I can play for about 2 minutes, then either my PS3 crashes or his...

As I said before, my ps3 is cursed. Not only because of that match, but also because of the disconnections. Disconnections and lag rarely happen in friendly matches, but when playing an ITST-match it seems almost impossible to even connect to start the match...
Well, it's been a while since I've played an ITST-match, but still...

Had no problems when playing Tonedawg the other day.

I played ToneDawg and he beat me 6-4 6-2 which is actually pretty good considering in our last 2 matches i could only get 2 games in.

And than I played a 1 set practice against Apathetically was up 4-2 and than it disconnected:evil:.....I am contemplating suicide.... :(

Than again he did have break points at 4-2 and I probably would have choked anyway's in which case I would be dead right now so that's a positive isn't it.

Had two matches today , against Apathetically and Joseynlund, I lost 6 0 first match , then lost 60 61 to Josenylund , they are two of the best shot makers ive ever seen , the 2nd match altho looks bad score had some really good rallies in it, but in the end he always knows when to strike , they were Sim matches and good fun :)

I deleted all the posts where this thread got off topic.

This thread was started for people to talk about the friendly matches they play. If you're going to post here, then make sure you tell everyone about the matches you lose, not just the matches you win. This isn't a place to brag about your victories.

Played Otlichno tonite , I lost 6 0 6 0 :(( simply amazing player , so much power and an incredible returner , i was trying to retrieve a lot of balls and got some back , but he was very helpful , he suggested i should try a defensive , retriever type player for Sim which i may try out:)
