EVERYONE, and i mean EVERYONE, else has used it. They may not abuse it, but they've used it at "convenient" times (tiebreaks, break points, after a serve at 30-30, etc). Like Likos said, if you use it, at least admit it. It's lame to profess to hate it and then use it when it's the perfect time to win an important point. Dropshots = same argument.

I don't really have a problem w/ it anymore. I've accepted that it is a part of the game now. I have no respect for it and I think if you use it, you are gay. But I've learned to live with it.

I've never used risk slice, or dropshots.

Maximo - you are definitely not gay. :-) Actually, I have a crush on Andy, so I am the most gay.

You are top 5 player and a much better player than me. You have my respect. And you don't abuse the shots, you use them like they are supposed to used in tennis. You don't abuse a glitch in the video game. There's a big difference. Our matches have always been fair and clean.......and I have never won.

Lol

There is also a good point tho that the pull back o shot slice with R1 can appear now as a risk slice but there is a difference because the double risk thing is like very deep and very rarely will go out but the slice i use is usually before coming to net and is different from the one i used to use when i first started playing here

No Lonamer u have fair point i did slice after serve ocassionaly but it wasnt the double trigger one the only time i use double trigger is on the return of serve and its with X , its also a bad habit :( lol

when I wrote this forum (march 23), I wanted to know the views of players about the Risk slice, By knowing the different opinions came to the conclusion that stroke is not a good player, and decided to remove it completely from my game. I am struck by what says Likos, because as I said. i do not use it more, maybe you just are confused or maybe u are lying.
Maxopo the only thing I say is that one has to be consistent with u says on the forum and what shows on the court, and frankly I m desapointed
I've played against Lonamer, Berfligp, ovijh, nito, tomo, alex, fed fan, andy, etc, and never use it during the game, and even less on tie break.
this is the truth, all I can say is that I do not like people from both sides, only to go with the truth.

mate, nothing bad but you spelt me an brgerfipr's name wrong. if that's how much respect you have for me,same to u!!!!!

ok now i've played both players, they both rarely use risk slice on me maybe 3 or 2 in the whole 3 sets, i respect both of you but this fourm's useless if it causes fights.i think risk slice is normal shot, i hate when it's used against me but i love when i do it back,i try to minimize risk slice.

and lastly captain- spell me and brgerfipr's name right please!!! :P

lol sorry OVHIJ and brgerflipr,,, Im only sayd i dont like when a player shoot a short risk slice only in tie break or whit break point, nothing else.
I think there are codes that not need be written as rules, but only respect.
I have a lot respect for maxopo, becouse i know he is a great player (sure top 10), and he do not need this resource to win me.

I never use the slice, but I use the drop shot quite often. It's a bit hard not to when most of you stay far behind the baseline to defend and I cant ever get a winner. I never use my drop shots at convenient times for that specific reason, I use them when my opponent is far behind the baseline and when I'm at the net or going to the net.

I don't see what's wrong with dropshots. I can't even pull a good one off myself, but am able to run down quite many.

The problem is that if u use it in a tie break or in a bp your rival quickly will say that u use only in importants points, maybe u have done 10 dropshot more in the set, but he will remember only the dropshot that u won in the tie break ,and of course he will not remember when he used dropshots or risk slice.
