Barcelona MSS
Coke4(Tompson) battles past SoundfSilence(Cannon) 7-6(5) 6-2 To secure place in R16

1st Set:I hold then open up a 0-40 lead on his first service game, he saves the first with a service winner but i take the second with a BH down the line winner to break, i then hold for 3-0. With me serving at 4-1 he gets 30-40 and takes his break point after wrongfooting me to hit a winner. I get another break point but he saves it with good defence. At 4-5 i get a break/set point and have the point won hitting him side to side but he showed defence hich would would expect to see from rogers not a cannon lol and won the point. At 5-6 i get 30-40 again but he saves it with another service winner. He goes up an early mini break in breaker but i manage to egt it back and go a mini break up before taking the set off a BH down the line winner at 6-5.

2nd Set:-We both hold until 2-2 when i open up a 0-40 lead on his serve and i take the first break point then hold for 4-2. At 4-2 i open up 15-40 but he plays aggresive and says them but i gain another break point and take it then serve it out to 30, taking the match with a deep and poweful forehand down the line.

Close one :)

Yeah the angle started to get pretty sharp, well when you attack my backhand side. Yeah I felt my only chance to win was by getting a double break on you in each set because you go for it. Maybe I shouldn't have had that exhibition match with you :lol: you must have got all the bad serving out of your system.

just played and lost a sim match with Calvkln in Estoril
me(cannon)-calvkln(nakamura):36 36

I signed up in this tournament because there was only one top ten and i hoped to find confidence in my sim game(i lost too many matches)playing against my same level's players....instead i drew calvlkln at first round...he has not a good rank only because he left the tour for a while but he is absolutely a top ten.

he has been very solid...few errors and few chance for me...his game is exactly as good as before...
good comeback for the tour :!:

I dont reccomend Cannon for you mate, he doesnt suit your style.

That being said i am possibly only saying this as i am sick of constantly playing Nakamuras and Cannons, its like the 90/40 tour and they are the 4/90 and 3/90

I just play too in Estoril (SIM) against pistolfred.. he played very good the first set but I manage to concentrated (didn't had to much trouble with the conexion) and won my first match 2-6, 7-5, 6-1 :D.. finally a win.. but my happiness will be short i guess.. have to play the winner of coke4 vs. ovhij :( ..

hope to win some games in that future match :wink: ... with a couple i'll be more than happy :lol: ...

@Coke

I don't like use Cannon too.but i wanted to use this tournament to test in an official match which are the differences between beshop and him...i wanted to use a Big server...but serve is not weapon... so it's better if i try to eploit my weapons rather than to compensate my weakness :wink: btw bishop is more funny than cannon :wink:

about nakamura i was thinking the same...he is so popular!

@maximo

at the beginning i used lopez but i didn't feel good with him...i felt him too slow and without a particular weapon.but at the beginning of sim tour i played worse than now..my game is changed...maybe now he works good for me... :?
why do u think he coud be good for me?

If you find Lopez to slow why don't you adjust fat/muscle, I adjusted my Bishop's a while back and now I feel I move and play so much more smoothly, even the ground strokes feel different.
Work me a boss.

well, i think that u are a great baseliner and good volleyer, and in my opinion lopez is the best for your game, he is the best baseliner and you could dominate the game with him, and lopez is not slow, 66 speed is more than enough, u move better now, is only a suggestion.

Lopez is good indeed, but you have to use him a few times to realise. I have got used to Cannon, and now moving to Lopez, the higher speed stat for Lopez does make a difference.

Cannon and thompson all the way... by the way what difference does muscle and fat plays in the game? I always put more muscle than fat just for the looks :wink:
