Try playing some doubles against the computer, thats how i learned. You know when your training is complete when u can triple bagel nadal on clay on very hard difficulty :D

Doubles is a good way to learn, but there's some things you can do in singles that I think make the best practice:

Play someone with good return like Borg. Find a serve that he consistently returns in a way that is tough to volley. Play the entire match hitting that serve until you figure out how to handle it. Mix up playing against pros with different strengths and play to their strength.

LOL I do that too sometimes. It sucks when you lose to someone and you know you really outplayed them.

I always play Haas with his 91 return.. Usually I haven't got a clue where the return is going...

But one day there will be victory! I will win a ts3-tournament by playing s&v!
Ok, probably in 2020 when I'm the last one left on the ts3-tour...

If we had a tournament stat for the courts in TS3 i think the teranga tennis court would rank as one of the slowest. And once tombs asked me to have a SV game on this slow ass court! Its safe to say the slow clay got some major abuse with serve and volley.

Yesterday i played quite a good S&V match against a player from Spain named Elque or something like that.

His stats were ITST like as all his stats were between 40 and 90.

If you read this Elque GG man,
I lost 3-4, 3-4 but it shows S&V can be good even when are ur against a 90 power dude.

Anyone interested in a SIM S&V game? (you don't have to S&V 100% though :) )

Lately I've started to get much better at volleying by following Rob's advice I saw a while back. Until recently I would hold and release, but I've found you really can hit much better volleys by just tapping the button.
