Thought I'd make this seeing as how forum activity has been down these past weeks.

You know the drill, make predictions and especially please post match reports.

As for my prediction, its hard to tell since I have barely played since the US open so I don't know who is on form.

Maximo is always a good bet, but I also have a feeling my compatriot marlonbrando is going to have a very good tournament. I predict a maximo-marlon semifinal and whoever wins it will go on to win the title.

close 1st set both hold serve to 4-4 then i break after a few risk returns i then seved out the match quite comfortably

2nd set

i immediatley break serve then take a 2-0 lead holding my serve to love,, at 4-2 i then break petrelli again to lead the match 5-2 i then served out the match to love,,

was a tough match but after the 1st set petrelli seemed to of lost concentration and eased off a bit,,, gg petrelli

Riley could also come a long way he beat me twice i friendlies now much improvement from him.

u returned much better than me...I think that was the key of the match...in 2nd i lost concentrion maybe because i lost confidence in my game...

Thanks for the few votes of confidence, but it won't be me. My favorite controller broke and I can't find a suitable replacement. I can't believe how different the game feels with a new controller, its going to take time to get used to it.

I would pick lonamer, nito, or Alex! Although Riley has really improved using house.

Know what you mean, my sixaxis's analogs are starting to mess up and the d-pad also seems to not always respond, so I'm trying to get used to the dual shock. Hate it.

I suggested riley use house or bucci so I take credit (or blame) for him improving using house

Yes he has and he stopped using short risk slices. Credit to riley, he beat me fair and square in our last match.

By the way thanks marlon for betting on me but i don't see my self getting past alex, his defences are from another planet!!

thanx 4 the vote of confidence guys, but i keep getting crushed by nito, i just cant get to grips with his style of play, plus if i manage to get passed DRII i face maximo that will be a close match as allways between me and him i just hope our connection is good as its been pretty bad of late,,, likos you have a good chance your style is to cope with and i was a little lucky in our previous match everything just went my way luckily 4 me lonemar i was very lucky in our friendlies a couple of risk shots went in that decided the matches im nowhere near your level yet,,,, and alex you must take blame from others but appreciation from me if ive improved as u suggested house to me

btw the winner of this tournament will come from alex or lonemar, if likos can get past alex's outrageous defence and counter attacking then maybe he could be in with a shout,,,, i wouldnt write off nito or maximo or marlon,, i would include DRII but his controller has broke and it seems at this moment of time we wont be playing our R16 match

Corr wins first round against Francisco 6/1 6/2 Easy victory, nothing interesting. Just want to notice, francisco 99% hit drop shop after serve to oposite side. Upcoming two great second rounds: alex vs chump and DRII vs riley. So waiting for your reports...

what a match

1st set

we both hold serve to 4-4 after some extra long rallies 20 plus shots but 5-4 to DRII he boke my serve 30-40 after i double faulted

2nd set

again we both hold but at 2-2 then i break DRII serve he immediatley replies by breaking back after some intense long rallies it goes to a tie breaker i cant believe i took the tie breaker 7-0 after cross court and down the line returns

3rd set

man this a long set with some of the longest rallies ive had on itst i serve and hold to love then DRII serves i break to go 2-0 up by 40-30 i then go 3-0 up after saving 2 break points it goes to the wire after some intense rallies again and some great defense from DRII but i eventually hold out to take the match after serving at 5-4 i win my set 40-15

well played DRII one of the best matches ive had in itst you played great and it was a battle and a half,, next up proberly maximo in QF
