There's just some whiners. The game is the best tennis game ever made. Better than VT3, TS2, and (cough, cough) even better that TS1.

If you just look at the poll, it looks like more than 1/2 the people want some kind of rule. But only 55 people voted out of the 400+ TS3 members.

Lately when I play I really feel like I'm playing tennis. You can really play by feel, and that's something I've only gotten playing true sims like Forza. The game's hard and frustrating, but isn't real tennis like that?

BTW: Remember this thread? TENNIS-GAME WISHLIST

There's a lot of ideas in that thread that in TS3. For instance.....

You got your wish on that one.

you pretty much have to have power in order to compete online. i've beaten 100 FH, BH, power people before...i mean, personally my guy is 98 power, 93 forehand, 85 backhand, but i also have great stamina and decent return. by process of elimination, my weaknesses are speed, volley, and serve. anyway, when you play these people, you can't play their game. mix it up and try to return well - a lot of it is anticipation. also i kind of accept that i will probably lose the first set, but that's where my stamina stat makes me the better player. i've grinded out lots of wins against the 100 FH, etc people. i like to play them because it makes me adapt my game. i obviously cant hit as hard as them, so it makes me re-evaluate. and yeah, the game is excellent...it has faults but it's so fun. i actually am emotionally invested and hate losing, etc. my biggest goal is figuring out how to win against most of the top 100 players...my highest ranked win is 47 but i must be like 3-10 against top 100 players in general.

What is unrealistic is that everybody has to have a minimum of 50xp on everything.

you are still a noob :-)

hey man we didn't play yet since you have ts3 so we really should

Yeah we should play, I´m trying to find the best setup, trying to create a master hehehehe, see you mate.
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Why don't we just limit the XP (like 60 or 65, I don't know) plus max 90.
Just like others said the 90/50 rule doesnt give much variation.

i think there should be a limit to 90 for every attribute.
i just lost to bruno1001 in R32 of Rogers Cup, his player got 100 xp on forhand, backhand and power, that has absolutely nothing to do with real tennis.
he just played with riskshots and wideout kickserves and that pisses me off.
when this is the way it goes, fine but this has nothing to do with tennis and that sucks and then in the near future i won´t play here
