WARNING - Joining the session

Never really had a problem connecting with a player match until a couple days ago, when the PS3 wouldn't do anything after trying to join a session. It just keeps trying to join and never does? Is this a known/common problem and if so, what should I be doing to fix it?

Note that I can create a session but only certain players can join... Seems very similar to the ports/NAT issue I had on XBOX but I'm a ps3 noob...

Any help appreciated.

But why does it only happen "sometimes" and with certain players? Is there any reason why I can connect with some random federer and NOT the guy I want to play?
