With just winning a 500 tournament, I think I am gonna be ranked #8 when the new rankings come out

- keeps getting better. Since it was exactly a year ago since I won my first title, Feb is obviously my time of the year that I peak :shock:

Seriously though, I think I have Norberto to thank for my sudden upswing in form. He was very encouraging after an exhibition match we played against each other a few weeks ago and since then my results seem to have taken a dramatic improvement

I haven't added up the points to check, so you may be right, but...

Keep in mind that you will lose any points you earned at this time last year. So the points for that first tournament win may simply be replaced by the points for the tournament you just won.

oh ok..but the tournament I won last year was only a 250 compared to the 500 I just won a while ago.Anyway, I can live with being #9 if that is the case :lol:

You should gain 250 points then, so I think you'll be 9th. But Setheleh (currently 8th) will also be losing 500 points soon, assuming he doesn't come back to play, so you'll probably move up to 8th in the next few weeks.

Speaking of Setheleh, what happened to him? He hasn't played since November.

I hope to make a comeback to playing more tournaments next year. We havent played in awhile and it seems like you have improved a ton!!
