How do you hit a winner in this game?:o

This is an issue that has been bothering me since the first time I started playing Topspin 3. Win or lose, I seem to have the same stat pattern, winner count more or less around the 20 mark while my opponent will 99% of the time have at least double that amount, sometimes nearly treble. Here is a classic example - my Miami final with Norberto. He hit 60 winners while I had a paltry 7 yet the score was still very close; 7-6 7-6. Yet in these kinds of matches it never feels like there is a massive difference in the winner count between my opponents and I..it is truly baffling . Sorry I just had to get this off my chest. I don't think the game is registering my winners as actual winners for some strange reason:P

Well Norboto risk returns alot yea?
Risk returns dont count as unforced errors and you also probably forced a lot of errors

this winner thing in TS3 was allways is a big mysterium for me .

i play the game now 2 years and i didn´t come behind this secret

i dunno how i done it, but i played alex in a burns vs burns match over 3 sets and managed to hit 107 winners, never come close to that before.

unfortunately people movement is alot better than it use to be so its alot harder to hit out right winners without risks try to hit corners long lt button or cross court close to the net works well lt only. nowdays i have to set up my winners. against you for instance, your movement is great so i have to monouver you out of position to make a winner possible. no more 1 2 shot winners unless your name is norberto or mindstate risk merchants.[/quote]
