Played an exibition match against him today and won 6-1 7-6 - I think the best tactic against him is: RISK EVERY SINGLE BALL! Once you give him a "normal" shot, you are doomed - he is going to take control of the point without giving you the chance of returning into the rally... So if you want to beat him, choose Bashmakov and make the match a risk-festival
