Challenge to ITST players!

Postby Adimu187 » Wed, 01 Jul 2009 04:19

Back from a very long hiatus, however, I can hardly wait to get back into playing these amazing tournaments against the toughest opponents in gaming. The men's tour is extremely packed with slicers, spinners, runners and power hitters. The women's tour is just as good but unfortunately less players to compete against. This, I understand, has always been a problem. With lack of interest for the women's tennis game, but some matches can be filled with just as many cross court exchanges as the men's. My challenge to you great players out there is if we're ever to play on the men's tour and I'm successful...I challenge you to create a female tennis player and enter her into a few of the tournaments provided by ITST. This challenge is to gain a little more respect for those players who put just as much time and effort into their female players as their men. Myself being one of them. This may take awhile but I'm looking forward to the challenge...are you?

I think what you mean is for ITST to start a mixed tour?! :)

I would do the challenge for TS II. I found out how to play with the female character for TS I in a male exhibition match.

I will see if I can figure that out again. That will be fun.

Most of them have tried the womens, its just not as fun. The movement sucks. But i stick with it. Plus most of the top players are consistnetly playing tournaments, so most dont want to have to schedule more matches, as they do not have the time

A mixed tour would be a great idea! Not sure if players would see it as a fair match but trying it out couldn't hurt. And yes, unfortunately players don't have time to play double the matches. Especially if the schedules overlap. I completely understand anyone who is oppossed to the idea I had or even the one Reese suggested. I just hate to see one side of the tour neglected. That's all.

Mixed tour, that wouldnt work. Everyone would use men. There would be no women in it, all top players would use men.

Well we'll have to wait to see if all the top players feel the same way then we go to plan B. I never extinguish a plan or idea before all the possibilities have been explored. Soo...guess we wait.

Yes a mixed tour would allow female or male players to compete against each other...and I've competed against TONS of male players and have won using a female tennis player. It's an interesting concept and will definitely keep the tour interesting.

No offense, but it's just not happening, it will never happen...it's fine and dandy when you're just messing around with one of your friends, but like Coolhand Texas already said, everybody would just use the men.

I understand that in the beginning to most there'd be absolutely no comparison. Those who are so used to winning with male characters would sensibly stick with that character, but I'm just pushing for the option. Who's to say ITST will even consider the idea but if they do it would add new interest to an already amazing tour! If only a few mixed tournaments a year.

I loved playing the womens game in top spin 2. for some reason the gameplay and movement of the women in ts3 is frustrating. It is also difficult to do both at the same time.

I enjoy TS2 as well although I haven't found it entirely too hard to control the movement in the TS3 women's game, I've however heard that a lot.
